» In a nutshell: I liked the food and the wine pairing very much. Moreover, I would describe the price-performance ratio as outstanding. The gourmet restaurant easily met my very high expectations. If I happen to be in the region again, I shall certainly consider another visit at JER.

The food is excellent, and very pretty. The fish dishes are superbe.
But, the service is not of the level of a 1* restaurant. A bit distant, errors (like not cleaning up how it should), no wine advice. And the suit of the waiter was not clean.
A pitty for such an expensive meal.

Very nice restaurant with good food compositions and fitting wine pairing. Correct if somewhat dry service. Good quality - price ratio. A place to re-visit! In the picture main dish of wild duck with structures of carrots. Paired with a refreshingly different and tasty wine from Lebanon. Every dish of the five course chefs menu contained local and saisonal ingredients. Very happy with our experience!

The JER offers a great 6 course menu. The combination of flavours is perfect and adventurous. Well balanced courses take you on a tasting journey. Accompanied by the suited wines, makes this restaurant a great culinary experience.

Well situated at the border of the center of Hasselt, quite near a big parking garage, makes this an accessible restaurant for visitors from outside of town. Delicious food, as one expects from a restaurant with a 16/20 score from Gault-Millau. However, the wine list (too expensive) and a complete lack of beer choice diminished the experience.

Our host/waiter was very rude and unwelcoming. We would have had a much more enjoyable dinner if he was friendly and polite. This is definitely not the type of service we expect from a Michelin restaurant.
