We finally went for the first time last week. It was later on a Sunday evening. I'd say the restaurant was a little more than half full, which was nice to see on a Sunday evening. There were plenty of families, though it was just the two of us this time.

There is ample space and one of the best things going for the restaurant is the open concept feel. The huge bar is central with plenty of TVs around that don't overly-dominate the aura. We sat toward the back in regular tables (rather than the pub tables).

The menu was intriguing so my wife and I split three things:
1. The soft pretzel was absolutely fantastic, came out hot and steaming. The spicy mustard and cheese dips were tasty. Would come back just to have this again.
2. The kale salad was a very healthy and generous portion. The bacon in it was tasty. But the overall salad had a bit of a weird, light gel-like texture to it. I noticed it on the tomatoes and the bacon. I imagine it was made fresh earlier in the day and sat in a fridge for a while? The baby kale didn't seem to have the same texture and was fresh (and there was a LOT of it).
3. The mac & cheese was very good. We got it with bacon. I didn't mind it, but my wife wasn't too big on the bacon. It might have been better if the bacon was sprinkled on top to retain a crunchy texture than throughout the very creamy cheese. But the taste was very good.

Our waiter was excellent (pretty sure his name was Bill/William). He clearly likes working there and took pride in the menu and experience.

We will definitely return at some point.

The clam chowder was brought out and a skin had developed on the top which would indicate that it had sat around in the kitchen for a bit after being prepared. Not super hot.
My meal was a cheeseburger and I asked for it to be medium rare. The picture I uploaded doesn't really relay the overcooked and dry nature of the burger. Also not hot. However, the fries were excellent and hot.
The chicken salad wrap was good and was served with freshly made chips that were also tasty.
I advised the server that the burger wasn't good and was told the chef would be notified. The burger remained on the bill and I didn't bother to ask for it to be removed.
It would be hard to recommend this restaurant.

An excellent place to enjoy a night out. They have a large selection of beers and drinks. The food menu is also rich with many options available. The wings, burger, tacos, root salad were all delicious and the pretzel was very special. They even have desserts which are not on the printed menu, and the lemon cake was mouthwatering. The design inside is very modern and nice, the bar is wide and very clean. The service was good as well. Definitely a nice place to go.

Went here on a whim the other day. The place is pretty chic and has a nice vibe. The bar is HUGE and very nice to look at. Def a “high end” vibe here. Don’t go here expecting a bud light draft. Got a blueberry margarita and it was yummy, a little strong for my taste but hubby loved it. We tried to clam chowder, it was piping hot and very good. We also tried the buffalo chicken dip. That was good but the baked pitas that are served with it are weird. Didn’t do it for me. But others might like it. 4 stars for the price. $17 margarita is a bit much.

Food was excellent, service was excellent and it's got great ambiance. We started with the soft pretzel which was very tasty. We tried the Cuban and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and both were so good! The beer selection is amazing, I'd say close to 50 beers on tap, maybe more once they get going. Great to have a new choice in Hanover! Highly recommended!

Totally ignored is the best way to describe my first and possibly last visit. I sat at the bar and the bartender no less than seven times made eye contact with me, walked by, and ignored me. I sat for more than ten minutes without as much as an acknowledgement or welcome! A couple came in and sat to my left. Right away the same bartender put down two coasters and asked them what they’d like to drink. I exclaimed excuse me - he then barked something at me - I got up and walked out! I’ve never been treated like this - I never post bad reviews but this was so unacceptable! Good luck if you treat patrons like that! Is there a zero star rating - it would apply here! A total different experience next door at Alba on 53 - I know where I’ll spend my money.

Being born and raised in the Flanders of Belgium, I was hoping for some authentic food. They had steak frites and mussels and a bunch of Belgian beer. Although I think the only Flemish beer they have is the Duvel strong ale. Loved the vibe and the mussels. We will definitely be back.
